Michael J. Burns Returns As New Technical Director 04/18/2011
Zasco Productions is pleased to announce that after a 7 year hiatus in New York, long-time employee and associate Michael J. Burns has been named our new Technical Director.

Michael J. Burns has been an integral part of Zasco Productions since the beginning. A long time friend of founder Michael Zaskey, the two began to perfect their craft in television production, lighting, and sound while students at Cathedral High School in Springfield, MA.

After high school, Michael Burns became one of Zasco Productions first employees, where he helped the growing company with his exceptional skill in all things technical.

Then, in 2000 after a successful career in broadcast television at a local ABC affiliate, and a brief career as professional woodworker, Mike once again returned to Zasco Productions, as its technical operations coordinator.

Four years later, in 2004 Michael departed Western Massachusetts to pursue opportunities at a production company in New York. He remained involved with Zasco Productions working on some of our larger projects, when possible.

Today, Michael Burns returns to Zasco Productions where he will serve as our new Technical Director. Michael's responsibilities include: site-surveys, project coordination, technical design and drafting of layouts, wiring plans, and plots, managing all technical aspects of our equipment inventory, and supervising our technical staff on production site.

We are pleased to have Michael on our full-time team and look forward to sharing his exceptional talents in all areas of video, audio, lighting, and production with our clients.
