In honor of the Hasbro / Milton Bradley game Simon's 25th anniversary, a special event was held right on the factory floor. Designer / Producer Benjamin Lee Inc. of New York CIty called Zasco Productions to help make their concept a reality.

The event, hosted by Donny Osmond featured a "playoff" where the top five Simon players competed for a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Each contestant played the game in a sound-proof booth. We positioned a remote camera directly above each players head. Video from each booth's camera was displayed on a corresponding 42" plasma screen flown from the downstage truss, in-line with the booth. In order to allow a larger audience to see all the action, the 4 cameras were also displayed in a real time quad format on 9x12 video projection screen on each side of the stage.
