  Description:

View the glowing review from: The Republican Newspaper at MassLive.com!

The Dan Kane Singers, a 150+ member choral group came to Zasco Productions with an ambitious idea. They were planning to stage their annual Christmas Concert in a new, and larger venue... The newly renovated MassMutual Center Arena in Springfield, MA. Zasco Productions had been producing their video for many years, and now, they were ready to take the production to a new level. They were now going to perform to an arena full of 4500 people, yet the group wanted to retain the intimacy of performing in a smaller venue.

Zasco Productions provided the solution. First, we supplied a 5-camera live-switch video production, which was recorded live-to-tape for broadcast. In addition, group members could cherish the memories of this grand performance as we provided post-production / distribution of the complete show on DVD.

Second, we supplied giant 15'x20' rear projection screens which were flown on each side of the stage, and our ultra-bright large-venue video projectors. The projectors were fed a special switched I-MAG (image magnification) production feed which included shots from all 5 cameras, as well as themed video montages synchronized to the group's performance. The strategically placed cameras, powerful zoom lenses, and highly skilled camera operators allowed us to capture the emotion and expression of each performer in the show, and deliver it to the audience in stunning clarity.

While a performer may look like a tiny dot on stage in a typical large venue, our I-MAG production made the performers appear many-times larger then life! From every seat in the arena, no matter how far away from the stage, each and every member of the audience could see, hear, and feel the excitement that is a Dan Kane Singers show.
